Countersink holes PCB (counterbore PCB): A common usage of countersink or counterbore holes is to permit the tapered head of a screw to sit flush with the top or bottom of the laminate. The cone angle is typically 82 or 90 or 135 degrees.

Typically, the countersink hole has 3 types degree, 82°, 90° and 135°.

Parameter for countersink hole as below,

1. Countersink hole size is less than 6.5mm can be drilled normally, if the hole size more than 6.5mm, then need to expand the drill, the size controlled by +/-0.15mm.
2. Unbalanced structure can not make countersink hole.
3. Countersink hole board thickness should be no less than 1.2mm, otherwise, special case for judgement.
4. Board thickness ≤2.0mm, depth and size tolerance is +/-0.2mm; Board thickness ＞2.0mm, depth and size tolerance is +/-10%.
